Hi Earl.
If you are tent camping, you do not need to book a separate site. The group site allows for tent camping and is included in your Maplecon registration.
The park will charge a gate fee of a few dollars as outlined on the Maplecon website, but your Friday and Saturday nite camping are included.
Those needing a trailer site were the only ones that needed to book a site separate from the group.

The campsites are pretty booked depending
on what you want. I would suggest getting on line early and booking now…..

reservations..general question-comments
Just wondering if we have to make
any special arrangements for a campsite. I checked the web site and Ive printed
out my pay pal receipt of $40.00 I made. Does that include a campsite for a
tent or do I have to reserve one with the park directly?
I wonder if we are getting something
in the snail mail..a package? or on the computer. Maybe I misfiled mine..if
so..sorry for the wasted bandwidth.
I will be bringing my modified Ten
Tec Argonaut 509 with the N3ZI version II dds vfo. I have been working on it
during these hot days and it works OK (very stable of course)..but the Argonaut
now only puts out about 1 watt cw on 80 meters and less as you go up in
frequency.
I think the drive is
insufficient so I will be scratch building a dds amplifier for it in
the next week or so. I will be putting a new switch on the 509 so
that I can output the dds vfo separately through amplifier/filters ect for use
as a general purpose signal generator (bench signal generator) and to act as an
external dds vfo for older rigs such as the HW 16 ect.
I have an idea for an antenna as
well. Kind of a different concept for an HF dipole (broadband with some losses)
and I will be bringing that along as well for the heck of it. 73 earl ve3ab
